ROCKIN’ RISOTTO COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
All you need to cook your risotto is 3 cups of liquid. The liquid can be any of the following:
* 3 cups water or soup broth,
* 2 cups water or broth combined with 1 cup white wine,
* 1.5 cups water or broth combined with 1 cup white wine & .5 cup cream****
You can use any combination of liquids as long as it totals 3 cups.
Add freshly-grated parmesan or asiago cheese at the end if you like.
 
Bring your liquid to a boil, add the contents of one bag of Rockin’ Risotto, stir well, turn to minimum, cover & simmer for 20 minutes. The more you stir, the creamier your end product will be. Stirring every 5 minutes produces a nicely-textured, al dente risotto.
 
The contents of the package produces enough risotto as a side dish for about 6 people. If you’d like to use it as a main dish you can add your own chicken, fish, beef or vegetables after the risotto is cooked – that will serve 2-3. Leftovers can be frozen.
 
**** If using cream as part of your liquid – add it after you have added the rice mix to the other liquids
